Congratulations to Laura Cowley, the Dallas SWE October Member of the Month!
Laura Cowley is originally from Kansas were she graduated from Kansas State University with her M.S. and B.S. in architectural engineering. She moved to Dallas upon graduation and has been working for the same company (wsp) for 8 years doing electrical engineering consulting for healthcare. Two years ago she was recognized by Consulting Specifying Engineering magazine as a 40 under 40 award recipient. Laura has been involved with SWE since college where she was the section president for two years and a senator for region i. She’s served on the membership committee for several years, and is currently a SWENext advisor for Coppell High School. In Jan of 2020, Laura was able to meet some of the SWENext ladies as they all volunteered together at a Future Cities competition.
